The Cedar Foundation USA exists to help bring real change to orphans and disabled individuals living in Bulgarian institutions. 

Frequently, these institutions are outdated and understaffed. Children, particularly those with disabilities, lack the attention and love they need to survive and thrive. Often these institutions are located in remote places where residents lack opportunity for social integration and access to specialized services. The situation there is difficult and, for those with disabilities or those that have been orphaned or abandoned, the choices are limited. Bulgaria offers little for alternative care services and its foster care system is insufficient.

The Cedar Foundation USA works in partnership with the Cedar Foundation in Bulgaria to meaningfully improve the lives of the orphaned, disabled and underprivileged living in Bulgarian institutions. We do this by raising financial support, recruiting volunteers, increasing awareness and being fully dedicated to helping them reach their goals.
